A tough battle with termites

It's the very first morning at home after I left UTP for good. My dad knocked on my door at 11.30 am and with a very worried tone, he rushed into my room's toilet door and started digging the door frame. I was half awake at that time. Still in a shocking mood, he told me that our door frames are attacked by termites!

I can feel that the door frame is so soft under the pressure of my thumb and i can hear the "crek crek crek" sound made by the termites. So we called up the pest control company and the guy suggest on 3 methods to solve our termite problem:

1) Normal spraying of chemicals at the infected area. Cost: RM680
2) Drilling multiple holes through the floor to spray the chemicals into underground area. Cost: RM1600
3) Termite baiting system. Cost: RM1800

The first method involves spraying at the infected door frame only. It will kill the termites for the moment but they might come back easily after a period of time. It's a budget method to cure the termite problem but its not very effective. Canceled.

The second method involves drilling hundreds of holes in the joints of the floor tiles. This is the most common method and there will be a hole every 2 feet of tiles. However, drilling hundreds of holes in your floor will of course destroy your beautiful tiled floor. Therefore, it is canceled.

Final method which is the termite baiting system is quite popular today since it doesn’t require holes to be drilled into your floor. They will install a container with poisoned termite food attached to the door frame. This will kill the whole colony of termites underground and it is proved to be effective.

So in the end we picked the third method and the guy help us install it on the spot. The roof and 1st floor are checked and its termite free. Therefore we only need to treat the doors downstairs.

We poked a hole through the door frame and stick some tissue at the entrance as bait. Termites start to climb out of the whole (creepy)

He glued the Sentricon (bait) to three of our door frames and just leave it for the termites to eat.

We have to live with this thing for a year and they will visit us 8 times in a year to monitor the termites condition until it is totally gone~

Which means we have to live with one year of soft door frame and hope that they wont just fall off anytime T__T

Fun fact: the queen termite is giving birth to 20,000 little termites everyday. So beware!

This is the day!!! the day!!! the day i finished my FYP presentation!!

Was so nervous the previous night until i can't think of anything...
Many many thanks to all my friends who supported and comforted me... really thankful to have you guys around...

I will definitely miss those moments pia-ing for exams and presentations but life has to go on. I can't wait to end everything here in UTP and start on my new chapter of life...

Final year final sem in UTP:

Pros:

1) Skip OM class since mid sem break
2) Get to go Pink shop & Oon Huat for appropriate meals almost everyday
3) Get to play arseface every meal in Tronoh
4) More outings

Cons:

1) More last minute work
2) Procrastination getting more serious
3) More stress when due date is nearer
4) FYP FYP FYP!!!!
5) More sickness ... hormone imbalance & allergy to seafood? (wth? when did this happen?)

All in all, negative wins!!!

Explosive Egg

Suddenly crave for hard boiled egg, so i boil one with my electric kettle. While boiling i heard a little "crik" sound. So i check the egg, a little crack appeared with some egg white sticking out. Thinking that it's quite normal, i ignored it.....

A few minutes later, i heard a louder "pop" sound and huge amount of water started flowing out... panicked, i lift the whole kettle up but its too hot and water still flowing out non-stop. I quickly move my external HD and some of the wet papers and files to a dryer place T___T

The aftermath was terrible. my documents and books are wet, table is covered with egg yolk + water..yucks!

Lesson learnt, when there is a crack in the egg, do not continue boiling it :(

Tensed up with FYP, OM and Taiwan trip at the same time....

Tick tock, tick tock, i can hear the clock is ticking away very fast, every second counts, im seriously running out of time...(and stupidly I still can spend some time blogging here)

Phoned my dad to confirm whether he gonna have dinner in Tronoh or not tomorrow and he answered:

Dad: Tomorrow?! What tomorrow? I thought I'm supposed to fetch u on thursday and ur flight is on friday right?

Me: what?! no no~ i told u 4th, which is on monday, and im flying on the 5th, tuesday ler~
(still thinking whether i got gave him the wrong info or not) ~almost wanna cry out dy, what if i din call him tonight? then i cant make it for the flight lo?~ huhuhu T___T

Dad: haha! JUST KIDDING la~ we gonna depart at 3pm plus tomorrow....

Me: PPPPHHHHEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW~ almost had heart attack ler~ :(

I have quite a high body temperature lately.. no, its not because im having a fever, or period. Just....................slightly higher than usual..

This attracts lots of mosquito to "kiss" me whenever i fall asleep. Hands, legs, my back, fingers and even my toes! everywhere!!! imagine how irritating it is and i can't sleep well too :(

I should wrap myself like a baby tonight or I should not sleep at all? haha~

Study week is here again! But the study week period has been shortened this time as compared to all these years in UTP. From 1 week plus became 5 days! zzz liaw...if you are the ones who doesn't study during the semester, you better stop sleeping and start pia-ing already by now. (refering to myself) sobx...

So what is study week without snacks? Snacks is a must to keep myself from falling asleep OR when my mouth is itchy and i wanna *munch munch* OR if i use too much brain power and i need to regain the power! muahahaha~

Recently something happened to my blog's layout which shows a lot of "photobucket" and i don't know what is that. Anyway, let's stick with this temporary layout for the moment =)

So there is this new found friend of mine which is a very wise person. I learned a lot of things and tried to be more open minded about life. This is one of the very meaningful article my friend showed me:

All of a sudden, one day, the Buddha came to the temple. Inadvertently he saw the spider. He asked her:" You have lived here and thought for one thousand years, I want to ask you a question." The spider was glad that the Buddha would speak to her, so she promised to reply. The Buddha said: "What do you think is the most precious thing?" The spider answered:"I think the most precious thing is what I can't get and what I have lost." The Buddha left without a word.

After a thousand years, the Buddha came and asked the spider the same question. The spider gave the same answer also.
The Buddha said: "You can have a profound think, and I will come back to you some day."

One day after a millennium, a sudden gale rolled a drop of dew up to the net. The dew was glistening and translucent,
spider liked it very much and she was happy looking at the drop of dew everyday. But after a few days, the wind rolled the dew away from her. The spider felt lost. Then the Buddha came again. He asked:" Have you had a profound think about that question?"

The spider thought of the dew, so she said :"What I can't get and have lost is the most precious thing in the world for me." Buddha said: "That being the case, I will let you become a person."

So the spider become a beautiful girl of a rich family in the capital city. One day, the emperor rewarded the champion of the country who was named Dew. All of the girls in the capital were attracted to Dew. But Spider believed that Dew will fall in love with her because of the Buddha.

But Dew had no impression of Spider, and didn't like Spider. Spider was sad. A few months later, the emperor announced that Dew would marry the Princess Wind and Spider would marry Prince Grass.

She knew this and was extremely disappointed. She didn't have anything to eat for several days and was going to die.
Then Prince Grass came hurriedly, and talked about his feeling of love for Spider. He said:" If you die, I will go with you!" He was ready to die.

Just then, the Buddha came. He said to Spider:" Have you ever thought about who brings Dew to you? The Wind does this. And at last, the Wind will take it back. Dew belongs to Wind, not to you. But have you thought of Grass? He was the grass living in front of the temple. He was looking at you for three thousand years and loving you for three thousand years, but you never took any notice of him. Now, Spider, what do you think is the most precious in the world?"

Spider understood the Buddha's meaning at once. She woke up, stopped Grass and gave Grass a deep hug. She said to the Buddha:" Now I know the most precious thing is the happiness I can have right now."

6th of March 2011 marks a very important date for all the chemi(s) July 06/07. It's our long awaited Chemi Family Day =D

I tried very hard to wake up at 7.30 am with only 2 hours of sleep. (It was another crazy night with the girls =p)

Luckily, I managed to avoid ffk-ing my coursemates and off to the field beside UTP lake...

We are separated into 6 different groups with assigned colours and I'm in Yellow group! Go Go Yellow!!! The whole 6 hours of the event was filled with 8 creative and wonderful games. I'm really thankful that I didn't missed out the fun and also appreciate the hard work of committees in making this event a success. =D

Although "Yellow" came in Last and "Red" 2nd Last, we are still happy cause we had fun!!! =p
The punishment of singing UTP song to the Pak Guard in front of the Guard House is not that bad =)

Started wearing spectacle since I was in Standard 4 when my teacher asked me to sit at the back row and I can't read what she written on the black board...

To me (at that age), opticians are very scary and they might just scoop out your eye balls anytime. That is one of the reasons why i delayed my trip to the optician shop until my power became 300 (both sides) during my first visit. Kinda regretted it...

However, so many years gone by, and I had tried on so many different kind of patterns, from round --> frameless --> half frame --> full frame spectacles.

It's time to go spectacle-less? Hmm.........(scary also) =D

Mid sem break in UTP

Mid sem break is from 4th till 16th Sept.....
and i can't go home because there's no one at home...so i went KL for a week and back to UTP since 10th Sept (last Friday)

Gosh~ u can't imagine how scary UTP is....I never see UTP's environment that QUIET before...I switch on my laptop 24/7 with the music on loudly, curtain closed 24/7 and lights on 24/7 too...try not to go out that often after dark..

I still remember the 1st day i arrived, i saw my housemate's door curtain is tied up like this:

After investigation...there's no wind, no one in my house, no cats, no mak cik cleaner...so wad is that? T___T a sign?

The girls' block corridor is very dark and quiet too..unlike normal dayzzzz.

A very busy week

This is the most busy and tiring week so far in Bintulu...

Plant tripped twice on Monday and my boss blamed himself for thinking of plant trip on his birthday and it came true! haha~ Hot start up and pump change over twice on that day, in time to see the mechanical seal of the pump leak and solution splashing out like it's raining!

Can see everyone running here and there trying to control the situation...it's a rare scene I would say..glad that I get to see those things in the plant ^_^

Then, it comes to Activated Carbon change out for 3 days...
Came to realize that management in terms of manpower, equipments, procedures and permits are very important..the whole thing will be ruined if things are not done properly.

Enough about work...washing both of my coveralls like hell =( covered with activated carbon, black and dirty..i wonder how many times i need to soak and wash them until the stain is gone..haha! tiring~

I even got "souvenir" from the ACF changeout:

More than 1 inch long of bruise because i climbed the monkey ladder too fast~ don't know in a hurry to go where! lolx~~it was fun tho =)

Anyway, the most fun part is: I'm going Kuala Belait to have my long awaited sushi!

It's gonna be a long trip from Bintulu --> Miri --> Brunei --> Miri --> Bintulu

I'm sooooo gonna get my sushi, mcD, Secret Recipe and maybe Haagen Daaz this time ^_^ and also lots of shopping and movie marathon? Can't wait for the sky to turn bright this time..lolx!!~

Jungle trekking

Hello everyone! I'm back after half a month of break...i didn't know that i actually influenced a friend of mine into writing his blog daily but i stopped writing mine.. (get scolded of course! hahaha~ =p)

Went for jungle trekking in Tanjung Batu area near Taman Tumbina on Sunday evening. Didn't bring my camera along, so no pictures this time =(

I wouldn't say that it's not challenging to jungle trek it but I think that its 5% of Mount Kinabalu? (just an estimation)

But I hardly did any extreme exercise for a long period, felt a bit weakened after the climb. haha! nevermind...shall make it as a weekly thing to do? haha~

Going for Sushi King Monday night due to this 3 days promotion of RM2 on all the plates..wahaha! seriously can't wait for it!!!

3.30 in Review

Memories~~~

There's this technician who borrowed my handphone to peek at my photos in it. At the same time, he is searching for the "someone" who appeared before in my life who doesn't look like a normal friend (if you get what i mean)..haha!

There are over 2000 photos in it (period: 1 year) and i salute him for scrolling down until the end...came to think of it, I have kept all the photos for so long. Photos that can almost write down a small chapter of my life, no matter its a good or a bad one...

Although there might be some unhappy moments but these are still my past, I can't, and shouldn't delete that part of my life...we should always look forward to what is lying ahead of us and not always mourning about the past right?

So what are we waiting for? Have a good night sleep and say hello to another beautiful day ^_^

This weekend had been a great one =)

Well balanced in between the time for myself, relaxing and enjoying my beloved TVB drama and also the time hanging out with friends...

Highlights of the day:

Woke up in the morning and heard some noises outside, so I opened the door just in time to see a mak cik in the toilet...shocked~~so I walked around the house just to realised that I'm left alone with that Mak Cik!

Slowly, she approached me with that cunning smile of hers and said: "Takde orang lain kat rumah~ ngek ngek ngek" ... Then she offered me a very juicy red apple of hers from a big big hand basket and said: "Cubala nak, sedap nie~~~!"

That story sounds familiar? hahaha...sorry guys, I just made that up =p Told ya I had some very wild imaginations nowadays..lolx~

But the Mak Cik thingy is real. Don't worry, I'm still sane to differentiate between a real human with an imaginary one..haha!

She's hired by my housemate to clean the whole house. Gosh, from a very dirty house it turned into a very clean and tidy one now... I'm so thankful for her service..she must have thought that engineers are bad in house cleaning? haha~ and so, I offered her some of my sweet honeydew after all her hard work at the end of the day ^_^

Had a quick jog along the beach side at Tanjung Batu, enjoying the cool breeze and also the accompaniment =p

And then out for dinner at "After Three Kopitiam", loved the Kuching style tomato mee but the portion is too little to satisfy my apetite. (Whoops...not that I eat a lot..shhh..haha! =))

It will definitely be a sweet dream tonight ^_^ nitezzz

Cooked french fries, egg, baked beans with rice today, a simple and fulfilling one =)

Somehow I'm quite bored with the food in the opposite shops and my favourite Laksa Uncle downhill had been sort of disappeared to nowhere. Therefore I decided to pick up the pots and pans and cook my own meal again but this time it's a bit different because the fridge is GONE!

So I can only buy the raw materials and cook it on the same day. pathetic~

and it is even better when Roy invited us for lunch at Klang Bah Kut Teh in Medan Raya! woohoo~ i miss Bah Kut Teh a lot...although the Bah Kut Teh here isn't that nice as in Klang's but then it was satisfying =) Thanks to Roy for treating us >.<

and so I stayed at home yesterday and did some cleaning in the bathroom. Gosh~ you will not be able to guess what 'treasures' i found in it...

Yea, hair...as usual...because there are only girls in this house, a HUGE pile of hair is a very common thing but plant???

I found it growing very healthily and happily on our mop! First guess was the lemon seed found a very comfy spot on our mop and started growing there? haha!~

Having flu for two continuous days already and I'm half dead by now...

But I believe that with my natural healing power, tomorrow will be a better day? =) lolx~~

Something very interesting happened today in the plant. I was in the engineer's office calculating heat loss when suddenly I heard a loud bursting sound and people running out of the control room into the plant half shouting.

Out of curiosity I just join in the crowd and just in time to see the operator closing the valve at the absorber for the carbon dioxide removal unit.

There's a pool of blue sluggish solution surrounding the absorber. So according to the operators, they claimed that they are isolating the valve but due to hot benfield solution being cooled down at the area near the valve, the solution crystallized and the valve blew off when the steam melts it again due to differential pressure.

Further detail of the incident will be discussed in the meeting tomorrow. Can't wait for it. =p

So we clean up the ground by scooping the solution pail by pail into the empty drum nearby. I wonder how much of the benfield solution is wasted this time. aihz~

Thanks to the operator who climb up to close the valve, the loss is reduced.

It's Sunday again...time is flying! SERIOUSLY...

It rained this morning but the temperature rise again on the afternoon, so not much difference is made whether it rains or not. haha~

Went downstairs to sit under the fan and in front of the TV, just to give my housemate the wrong impression that I'm going to snatch the TV remote control away from her..wakaka! No, I'm not even slightly interested in that.

Still having plenty of movies in my laptop and it takes up lots of space! ish....its time to cash out my nuffnang earnings to get myself an 500GB external hard disk? hmm...

Love to listen to the loud music with my head phone and ignore what is happening around me once in a while =)

I always thought that the 2 days free from work will be a very relaxing one but didn't expect it to be so tiring. Went to the hall for decoration since 8.30 am and stopped at 6 something pm for the 1st day. It was half completed but the main decorations and lightings are up =)

Today is the CNY celebration itself and we get to see lion and dragon dance. It's very awkward that we are still celebrating it after CNY period but who cares? It's an event to bring everyone together and have fun with friends and family =)

And yeah~ kids, bachelors and bachelorettes get to go on stage to collect ang pow! Hahaha~ so "old" already, a little bit paiseh to go take ang pow liaw... ^_^

Supervisor went to MLNG for some kinda meeting for the whole day. So I'm stuck in the plant doing the report for my soon-to-be completed main project. Was with my favourite group of operators these 2 days and what a scene in the operator room! We were constantly entertained by them with their sense of humour...lolx

Right eye has more power than left eye by 100 =( There are no ready made lens that suits my power. So I have to custom made it....still considering ah! huhu...

Tomorrow and day after tomorrow ABF trainees are excused from work to decorate the Bintulu Kidurong Club hall for Chinese New Year celebration. Means no work for 2 days and I can sleep until 7 something! Yeay~~

Someone in my office offered to be my counsellor for my personal problems. lolx..do I look that 'problematic'? But I can feel that it came from the heart and I really appreciate it =)

Supervisor shifted out from the house we rented together with the fridge that she bought. So I have to bid goodbye to her and the fridge and as well as my cooking. No fridge, no raw material, therefore no cooking for me too. Kinda miss her a little now. Haha! and miss my spagetti too ^_^

1st of March, it may be just another ordinary day for anyone but it is a very special day for me.

I just made the 1st move in solving one of my personal emotional problems and i'm still gaining the courage slowly to solve all the other problems as well.

Yup, I'm a problematic and troubled person, still struggling very hard to look for the real me inside. Made a new resolution this new year and will try my very best to search for what I really want.

The world doesn't spin around you anymore and I won't be constantly spinning around other people's circle and lose my real identity.

Pray hard that my determination will last and that I will stay strong in every phase of my life. =)

Rats are not cool, no matter how you help them dressed up, rats are still rats!

Imagine them loitering around your kitchen, with their dirty body, sniffing for food...

One warm night, I was getting a bit hungry, so I went downstairs to get some hot water for my milo.

Switched on the lights, pour the powder into the cup and prepare to throw the emptied packet into the rubbish bin when suddenly something dark and black flash by!

Puzzled and when I don't even have the time to figure out, something BANG onto my foot and make a weird noise!

I'm stunned with shaky legs and didn't even have the energy to scream T__________T

Are rats BLIND? After the weird encounter, it sort of change its direction and ran out through the window. wtf!!

No matter how many times i tried to wash my foot, I still have the dirty rat feeling on it. Yucks!

The kitchen is so huge and of all the places! It kissed my foot. What on earth is that rat trying to do?

Hungry now, dare not even go downstairs to cook maggi.

Cold!

It has been raining since last week and we were trapped in this icy cold weather.

Have to walk around in the plant with rain coat. Cold!

Climbed up very very very high to the primary reformer today and saw lots of steam released by the steam drum which looked like a huge wave of clouds floated by. This made me thought of Genting Highlands where I have this sudden urge to catch a flight to KL and then take a bus to Genting for a holiday =p

Since I can't do anything about it, myself focus and explore the reformer >.<
It was fun learning on how to start up the whole thing and the operators are very willing to teach us the theory behind it =) It was a good day (",)

Am feeling a little guilty of not blogging about the caroling trip to the long house. Tho its a bit late but here are some pictures of it ^_^

Rain oh rain

Early in the morning, 6 am as usual, woke up shivering because it is raining cats and dogs outside. Prepare for work lazily wishing that I can apply for emergency leave and sleep for the whole day. But my conscious mind told me not to.

Run to the bus half wet, thanks to Raymond for the umbrella, then into the plant where most of the places are flooded with 1 or 2 inches of water. Had my safety shoes soaked in the water. Coverall was half wet, heavy and cold =(

The rain lasted for not 1 or 2 but 18 hours! and still counting. It is now too cold to bath also T______T oh crap! the weather is killing me!

Bintulu people

Bintulu people over-friendly or Klang people unfriendly?

Haha! there's this shop named Sin Leong opposite our house. Renae and I loved the food there because it is delicious with a reasonable price. Therefore, we always bungkus from there very often until the "tauke niu" (lady boss) know us liaw.

So we went there today to dabao again and she chit chat with us for a while, asking whether are we going back for Chinese New Year. So as usual I will say NO, then she asked why. I was too lazy to explain because its a damn long story and I just blame on the expensive flight ticket =p ~jahat~

Then out of a sudden, she invited me to stay with her and her family for CNY. Can u imagine that? Renae and I were stunned~~

She said: "dun worry, our house got no guys and I have 4 daughters"

Hahaha~ speechless.....even Klang people here in Bintulu also not that friendly..lolx~~

Mahjong addict (s)

Have you ever played mahjong before?

I learned once during the holiday trip to Redang, was taught how to play by my friends but then stopped after the trip because no "kaki" and no mahjong set.

However, met Melissa here in Bintulu where she got a complete set together with 3 "kaki" : Melissa, Renae and me!! wakaka!

So Renae and I pick up the real method of playing the 3-players mahjong and started to get addicted to it already. Played for 6 hours today from 3 pm till 9 pm at Mel's house, then cook spagetti for dinner >.<

31st December 2009, the last day of 2009 is a happy day for all ABF interns. Even though get scolded by supervisor (touch wood) also will show them the super wide smile =)

The end of 2009, many happy and unhappy stories happened throughout the year. I'm too exhausted to list down all of it but shall look forward for a better year ahead!

Working in a plant

Attention to all "plant" lovers,
Do you think that working in a plant is fun?

It is not fun at all, every second you stand in the plant, you are exposed to millions of hazards and the possibility of any type of accident you may imagine.

It is burning hot under the sun, and there are high pressure steam pipes everywhere, which means pipes with super duper high temperature (up to 1000 deg celcius) and you may not even notice it.

I once almost tripped and fell because of the pipe on the floor but luckily managed to stop myself from falling, have to climb monkey ladder to a few stories high to do plot plan and observe some leaking inlet pipe.

Have to wear the super duper heavy YELLOW coverall everyday with the ear plug, safety helmet, a pair of super duper heavy safety boots which took off my 2 toe nails and safety goggle.

Sometimes, you might not even hear what the operator say in the plant. It is just like:

Too noisy~~ with the ear plug stuffed in our ears, i can only hear 10-20% of the operator's voice eventhough our heads are like super close together already. Sometimes, I will stand there staring at he equipments imagining what kind of accident may happen involving that unit itself. Haha~~ and are exposed to the smelly ammonia smell.

Luckily the panel operators there are very friendly ^_^ They will attend to all my silly questions and we will have small quizzes also =)

All in all, I'm already in the plant, can't complain so much anymore. Haha~ Yosh~ INTERNS! gambatte everyone =p

Current status: Entering into another chapter of my life ---> Internship.

I'm currently entering into the 3rd week of my stay in Bintulu and 2 full weeks of Industrial training here. Thank God, everything is fine ^_^

My stay in Cheras, KL with brother

Will be missing KL during the whole internship period in Bintulu for 8 months. Therefore, I fully utilized the whole 2 days of stay in KL. Went to KL Sentral to have my favourite SUBWAY ^_^

Had a very delicious lunch with cousin sister, Audrey at CHILI's, Mid Valley^_^

Then shopping shopping and more shopping!!!
Since it is the YES (Year End Sales) again, there are sales wherever you go...

Bought super lots of stuffs in KL and are satisfied, can fly to Bintulu peacefully already =p

The journey to Bintulu

I can summarize my whole trip to Bintulu as a very rocky and full with obstacles one as there are many unexpected things happen such as what happened to my flight ticket. Will relate to that in the next post.

In short, I took Air Asia, which costs me for RM 401 to Bintulu.

It was a very bright and cloudy day, took some pictures in the airplane with my camera in flight mode...

Marks the date of last final paper, farewells and journey to KL~~!!

Finished our last paper at 12.11pm (finally), packed and off to KL! Starved for the whole day, skipping breakfast, lunch and dinner and proceed to supper at 11.30pm (Mc D again~~ i can pokkai dy..haha!)

Bidding farewell to close friends was hard as tears will begin to roll down from your cheeks, gonna miss them lots T_____T

Will miss the days in IRC "pia-ing" for finals, will miss my v5 room also, had been staying there for two and a half years already....

Currently enjoying in KL! Hope the time stops here so that I can shop and devour nice nice food longer here ^_^

Think twice before dealing with MPPUTP

Yes, think twice!! or even many a thousand times before having anything to do with MPPUTP!!!
Pissed!

As you know, I bought the bus ticket from MPP to go home for the Raya holidays.
UTP ---> Shah Alam (S.P. Bumi) and
Shah Alam ---> UTP (Bas Persiaran)

I was thinking that it is quite convenient that they send us straight into UTP and we don't have to walk from the main gate to our hostels.

However, the trip to Shah Alam was delayed for 2 hours. We waited from 3pm until 5pm only depart. Okay never mind, I forgive you because raya need to bermaaf-maafan.

BUT!!! the trip from Shah Alam to UTP delayed for 4 hours!!! From 5pm waited till 9pm! I asked Prashanth: Can I like curse now?! Aih...

Okay la, maybe it is not TOTALLY MPP's fault because the bus driver himself is late but please choose a better and a more reliable bus company next time. Of course, I swear that there will never ever be a next time for me. It is a NIGHTMARE!

So for those who are:
1) Rushing to catch a flight home
2) Rushing for an interview
3) Rushing to meet gf/bf
4) Rushing for gatherings

You are advised NOT to travel under bus which are organized by MPPUTP or the above bus company. YUCKS!

A trip to the leaning tower of Teluk Intan

Teluk Intan, or formerly known as Teluk Anson is a must to pass by when I'm on my way back to UTP after the holidays.

Okay, what's nice in Teluk Intan?
Well, basically there's nothing much except a mini Giant, Old Town Kopitiam, some nice food with reasonable price and a leaning tower which attract my attention the most.

Stopped by to capture some nice pictures of the leaning tower but we were too early that time, did not manage to get into the tower itself.

I'm so lost right now, lost in words, lost in action, lost in everything i do.. what is happening? I don't know.

Watched "8 Simple Rules in Dating my Teenage Daughter" recently and that makes me miss my dad even more. He is always there to consult me in everything i do. He is a very wise man. However, there are somethings that i still can't confide in him.

It is so hard to find someone whom you really trust these days. The ones whom I trust, is not there for me anymore. I'm slowly crawling to find some light. Hope to get some enlightenment before I went psychotically crazy.

Am gonna suffer during this "puasa" period. Luckily, thanks to my friends, we got to bungkus rice from Tronoh. ^_^ Additional with a yummy skinny maggot I found in the rice. Why is it so skinny? They puasa also kot~~~

Plants Vs. Zombies

Just a quick update~~~

I have already finished up all the levels in adventure section of plants vs zombies (pop cap games) and found that the victory video is damn cute~~

There are a huge wave of zombies on my lawn dancing and singing so happily....wakaka!!

UTP is closed down for a week due to H1N1 outbreak. I thought that perhaps I can make full use of this time to complete all the hanging tasks.

But now, I'm so stuck in this fever and cough that my brain is not functioning at all
I'm being monitored by my parents every minute
had my temperature taken and recorded every hour
quarantined in my own room and own toilet, not even a step out from my room
everything is sent thru the door
had all the attention i want but I JUST WANT A NORMAL LIFE ='(

Fever faster go away please!!! T_T

Okay! Stopped on the way to visit the Kg. Bavanggazo long house...i dare not walk too quickly or run in the long house..seems like it will collapse anytime...but it's just my feeling...the long house is super tough!

Imagine if you have to stay there overnight...it will be super cooling! Good air ventilation.haha...

KLIA ---> Sabah (Day 1)

A few days before Year 2 Sem 2 commence, I got a sudden sms from Chang Hua asking whether I'm interested in the trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, that he is planning at that time.

Well, the plan is interesting and this is a very good opportunity to go for holidays with friends as it is the last holiday that we can really enjoy. So, why not?

Financial planning is important. Had been saving up part of my allowance throughout the semester for the trip. As we are going to climb Mount Kinabalu, need to go for constant training also. But people like me tend to procrastinate a lot. Haha... planned to start training a month earlier but ended up training for 2 weeks only. Was kinda worried whether is it enough or not at that time. However, enjoy first! Don't think too much..lolx

Day 1, parents sent me to Klang ktm to board a train to KL Sentral, meet up with Chang Hua and Adonis there, had Subway (delicious!) then off to KLIA by bus. Yoke Mun will be meeting us in KLIA and off to Sabah!! ^_^

Fathers' Day

Okay, updates!

Fathers' Day, should be a happy day for all of us. But not in our family.

As I have mentioned in the previous post that we are going to have a great lunch to celebrate, we did.

Just when we are enjoying our lunch, we got a call from our relatives that my Grandma (mum's side) fell down when she got off the sofa and broke her leg.

For a 90 years old lady, falling down (or even just a light thump on the floor) will cause serious injuries because her bone is very fragile. Immediately, my mum give a call to our cousin, who is an Orthopedic Specialist.

So he went to Port Klang, check on her and immediately sent her to Pantai Hospital, the place where he is working. Operation is scheduled on Monday afternoon.

We went to visit her immediately after lunch. Her right leg was hanging and she keep on complaining that the bones near her waist is paining. Imagine you are 90, skinny with not much flesh and blood, and have to undergo a quite serious operation. Everyone is really praying hard for her. T_T

At 6.30pm, we reached home and I drop 'dead' on my bed. That sums up to 34 Hours of my sleepless hours.

Today, we went to the hospital to visit her again. She is warded in ICU. Only one person is allowed to go in and see her at a time. So, one by one we went in to ask her about her condition, and the answer we got is the same, she is feeling better but headache. She is not allowed to talk too much and need lots of rest.

Daddy says, we went in one by one will disturb her even more because she will just repeat the same thing over and over again. Everyone will ask the same question. And we should write her condition on a piece of board, hang it beside her bed for the visitors to see. >.< swt!

Well, will visit her again tomorrow, hopefully she will be out from ICU.

A day before Fathers' Day.

As planned, my grandmother, 1st and 2nd aunt and cousin sister came from KL to stay overnight in my house to celebrate Fathers' Day the next day. They arrived in the evening with their small bags and excited looks. How nice is family gathering once in a blue moon! It was such a long time since my brother and I have a nice hang out with our cousin sister =)

After dinner, out from nowhere, Aunt suddenly suggest that we go shopping at JJ without knowing that we already planned to mamak later on. Therefore, my brother, Audrey (cousin), aunt and I (We called it the youngsters group, except my aunt, kekekeh >.<) went JJ to window shop and for supper. As I have mentioned "window shopping", there is nothing that we want to buy. So, everyone ended up in the supermarket section =.=" And there came the weirdest statement i've ever come across: Quoted from my aunt

If you guys wanna yum cha later on, we won't buy ice cream potong,
If you guys not going, then only we buy ice cream potong.

The reason is that, we can't drink coffee and have ice cream in the same night. OMG! hahaha...we were like stunned for a while. Without further thinking, we immediately choose Yum Cha la of course!!! lolx...so cute.

Aunt insist on going to Old Town to have White Coffee (don't know why). So we just follow =(
Friends who know me well will know that I NEVER drink coffee since the last time I had Starbucks Coffee more than a year ago. This is because I always feel dizzy after a cup of coffee.
This time, after such a long period, i want to challenge myself and see whether my body really reject coffee or not.

Ordered a cup of Iced White Coffee, toast with kaya, butter and ice cream (delicious!)
Everything is fine for the 1st hour.

And then.............................................

It comes again!! That kinda of unpleasant feeling. The dizziness and headache. Oh man, how regretful am I to order that cup of coffee T_T

Back at home, the dizziness continues, and it is still too early to sleep. Brother snatched my laptop to online, Audrey also online in my room, dad and the aunts all cram on my bed to gossip. All the noises, the laughters and even the piercing and irritating noises keep on "flushing" into my ears. It was unbearable till I have to go downstairs to the peaceful hall to have a rest.

Only one person in this world know how I felt that night. (Yes you! hahah...)

After several peaceful moments, dad and 2nd aunt went back to their rooms to sleep. Left our happy gang earlier. The four of us are all "OWLS" . Audrey recommended us to watch a Singaporean short series named "Army Daze" through Youtube. It is seriously a very funny show, you guys should watch it. Each episode is around 8 to 10 minutes long and totally they have 9 episodes. We started loading and watching since 3 am till 5 am in the morning. Oh man! Imagine my 60 year old aunt sama sama as crazy as us! lolx.

After that, their batteries were totally dead. Brother went back to his room. Aunt and Audrey sleep in my room. Peaceful! I can hear someone snoring =p

However, no matter how hard i tried to close my eyes and sleep, i can't seem to relax and fall in a deep sleep mode. There are so many things in my mind right now. Flashbacks...old memories which seems so near, like it just happened yesterday. Good friends became normal and common acquaintance because of some reasons.

Why must these events happen? My mind is spinning non-stop. Very restless. Is this the effect of the coffee? Or my mind is playing with me? There are some things or memories that I can't get rid of. I'm CONFUSED. T_T

How nice if I can lie on my bed and sleep now.
Everyone in the house is awake now except Audrey and my brother.
(still sleeping like a cute lil' pig >.<)

It's 9.30 am now. Im already awake for 26 hours and still counting...
and we have to go for lunch (on Audrey) and dinner (on my brother and I) to celebrate Fathers' Day later. Pray hard that I can survive without banging on a wall today!!

I need SLEEP!!! How nice if I can sleep like her >.<
(and how nice if I'm as pretty as her..lolx!)

However, we stood there stunned for a while trying to figure out WHEN is the expiring date of that packet.

The manufacturer is trying to confuse people ah...

Egg tart secret recipe

Tada!! Today, I'm gonna teach you how to make delicious egg tarts ^_^

First of all, the most important thing you need to have is a RECIPE...

Egg tart recipe:

For Dough:

250g Butter
250g Flour
100g Sugar
1 teaspoon of Salt
1 small Egg

For Filling:

1 can of Evaporated creamer
200g Sugar
5 Eggs (5 egg yolks and 4 egg white)

Next, prepare all the ingredients according to their stated amount.

~Butter and sugar~

~Flour and eggs~

~1 whole can of evaporated creamer~

You can use Carnation-brand creamer ^_^

Then, we will start making the dough 1st. Mix the flour, 1 small egg and butter together...

Then mix, mix and mix with your own hands...until it becomes like this...

(just like mi hun kueh..lolx)

Okay, the dough is ready. we need to prepare the fillings...

1st, pour approximately half can of evaporated creamer into a pot, add in sugar and heat it up.

Keep on stirring until all of the sugar is dissolved.

Then only add in the other half of the evaporated milk.

Next, beat up the mixture of 5 egg yolks and 4 egg white until it become frothy...

After this, you must wait for the evaporated milk to cooled down before you add in the eggs. This is to avoid the eggs to get cooked in a higher temperature.

Ho ho ho...we are reaching the most important and also the hardest part liaw. this is to form the shape of the dough.

1st, prepare the mould for the dough.

And apply some butter on them to prevent the dough from sticking to the mould after it's baked.

Hands-on time!!
Grab a small handful of dough and press it gently onto the mould. Make sure there are no air bubbles trapped in it so that your egg tart will be in perfect shape =)

The amount of dough can be adjusted according to how thick you want your egg tart crust to be.

Make sure it is evenly distributed around the mould...(can see some finger prints there..haha)

After this, you have to put all the dough into the oven and bake for 2 to 3 minutes to let the dough harden up a little bit before pouring in the fillings.

Then pour in the fillings and into the oven it goes (again)!!

After approximately 10 to 15 mins, you can take the tray out to have a look, if you think that it is not baked yet, then add the baking time until it is golden brown =p

THE OUTCOME...
PERFECTO!!!!

Golden brown tasty egg tart!!

Had been wondering where I have been since I'm not posting anything for the past weeks?
It is because:

1) LAZY...am enjoying the carefree and stress-less LAST semester holiday.
2) SICK...for no reason, the 1st 2 weeks of my holiday i was caught with flu---> sore throat---> voiceless---> cough---> fever ---> then back to cough again. However, am getting better now, altho can speak, but can't sing. hahaha... most of my plans for the hols are ruined =(

Okay. cut the crap.

Feeling guilty of how I'm spending my holidays, finally i came up with a plan! Wahahaha..it's TOP secret. so i'm not revealing it here.

New day, new beginning...
1st thing I must change is my sleeping habit. No more sleeping at 6 or 7 am anymore. I wanna become an early bird liaw, so if anyone still see me online at 2 am please kick my ass..thank you.

So, i woke up very early this morning and prepare for the day. Just wondering that, my vision got blurred or haze is everywhere??

I can't even see the houses opposite, the basketball and the badminton court.aih~~

Okay, outdoor plan is cancelled for the day. Have to go for indoor plan!

The weather is so hot nowadays that everyone is complaining HOT! Even me, who is not afraid of the warm temperature normally, started to sweat during my nap.

It's time to say goodbye to water heater....(business not good dy)

And hell-o to aircond!!

Air-conditioner is very helpful especially in the hot season, because it provides us with cool and fresh air. YEAH!

Tick tock..tick tock..the clock shows 12 noon sharp.

Received a text message from bf stating that he is coming Klang JJ today.
Oh? weird ler...of all the shopping malls in KL, why la he want to come to a small JJ like Klang's?

Oh well, we meet up, shop for his formal clothes for intern and had dinner =)

After a very LONG discussion, we finally cut down to 2 choices to dine in. 1st is Boston and second is Bar.B.Q. Plaza. My heart is facing Boston but there is no customer in Boston. On the other hand, Bar.B Q. Plaza is almost full until some of the customers have to queue up for places.

Oh man, tough decision. So i leave it to him...(this is what i always do..wakaka) Finally, he said: don't think so much, let's go to the place with more customers.

Okay, maybe they can attract more customers because their food is tasty? So in we go!

Ordered Supreme Pork set, fresh orange juice, honey lemon and started eating luu~~~

~Pork, chicken, bacon, prawn, sotong, vege and yada yada all mixed up~

So we happily BBQ everything and eat up!! what he don't eat such as vege, i eat...what i don't eat such as sotong he eat...and he said we shud order 1 vege set earlier..swt...

Overall, the taste is not bad la, love the springy prawns and thin slices of pork and the bacon smells so good!!! haha..but the fresh orange got a lot of seeds and no taste de..prefer honey lemon =)

Was just browsing through my lappie for some old games. Then click click click, it leads me to miniclip websites where it consists of flash games.

Out of so many games, i was kinda attracted to one named sushi-go-round.....

It is very much like Burger Shop where we need to serve customers according to their needs.

The ingredients is allocated at bottom left of the screen where you need to click according to what type of sushi your customers ordered.

You have to know what to put in the sushi through the pink colour sushi recipe book.

Well, the ingredients are numbered. Which means it will be out of stock very soon. Therefore, you must click on the telephone and order to refill your stock.

Goodbye UTP for 2 months

Yo!! It's the long long semester break again...

Initial plan was to stay back till end of the month, go Bukit Merah lepak first only go home but daddy and mummy misses me so much, called at 12pm Saturday noon to inform that they will be fetching me at 5 to 6 pm on the same day!!!

OMG...everything was in a mess...the clothes soaked in the pail, haven wash yet...notes scattered around...table super messy T_T

It was another nightmare....

Every semester, i need at least 1 whole day to pack my stuff, but now, i only have less than 6 hours!!!

Washed the clothes in a jiffy, found some place with sunlight so that it can dry faster, washed the cooker, plates, everything...(watch Taiwanese series while packing ..hehe..slow progress)

Then plan what to bring home and what to leave in UTP for that 2 mths...packed everything into the bag and TADA!!!!

Left some clothes, past sem's notes, pails, pillows and those small small stuffs which is not valuable and LOCKED up.

Dad saw the notice on the door stated that: You must not leave behind all your stuffs during sem break.

Then he said: ALL? I left SOME behind only, not ALL. So you can't fine me....

(SWEAT!!) I was thinking, why are you not a lawyer? lolx....

Finally, finish packing, bathed (the weather is super hot!!) and depart!!! lolx...i'm a happy girl again =p

Heart Attack part II

For those who don't know who or what is my baby, well, it's my beloved laptop T_T

It keep on repeating and back to this page the whole night =(

Not even one year old wey, damn sakit hati. I'm that rough ka??

Immediately go to Yik Foong 1st thing in the morning, but changed my mind last minute, rather go to HP service centre as my laptop is still under warranty for 2 more years. Don't know what is wrong...

How unlucky!!! The service centre is closed on Saturdays. Therefore we went to a computer shop just beside the service centre to examine my lappy.

Within minutes, they told me my windows is corrupted. Really tension. T_T As my lappy is freedos de, it's not under warranty, so must fix it with own pocket money. huhu

So, they promised to backup my documents for me before reinstalling the new windows. But luckily, the night before, hin already backup most of my files for me, so, other than those movies, which i can download again from DC plus plus, the rest are saved!!! yippie ^_^

What the...why they described my laptop as DIRTY?? huhu...already cukup sad ler...=( lolx

Anyway, now only i know that i really can't live without my baby. Must really appreciate it dy...gonna get back my baby this monday. hopefully everything went well...

Heart Attack!!!

Had a mild HEART ATTACK friday night. Why?

Was happily back from dinner in Ipoh, just to realised that my baby is unconscious!!! No matter how i try to wake baby but to no avail. huhu...

Baby keep on giving me the same kind of "face" and would not response at all. DIE!!!

I began to panic and called all the "doctors" around and ask about baby's condition, i'm worried sick, took baby to one of the "doctors" and checked. But baby can't be cured in this small lil' clinic, must go to the hospital already and undergo serious surgery. But the "doctors" helped me to prepare all the stuffs and backing up before taking baby to the hospital.

That night itself, i walked around the blocks in village 5, praying hard that the "doctors" manage to cure baby, can't eat or sleep well either =(

Next day, baby is sent to ICU straightaway, need to be fixed from head to toe T_T hospital fee also very expensive..so anyone with a kind heart out there, who has extra pocket money, please donate to lessen my burden. Thank you TT__TT
